Harriman 2012

I went to Harriman Park again, this time with a few more friends and a different lens.  The weather was warm until the wind picked up.  Between pulling a sled with my friends' kids and taking photos, it was a full day.  It was the first time on skis for my friends' son and he did pretty well, though the handle on the little harness he wore made life much easier when he fell :)

Good Lord, Harriet!  What did you eat?

Photos from beyond

I had a couple of photos that I took in 2008 and 2009 that I wanted to throw out there for anyone following.  I've got a few minutes before I need to start editing sr. portraits again, so I'm posting a small sample of my favorites from beyond (which is code for....I don't really know what it's code for...)

Portland Skyline at dusk.  This is one of my favorite photos I've taken.

Ok, so I didn't take these next two, but I liked them anyway (I'm the one on the left).  These were taken on the Snake River near Idaho Falls.

Wisconsin Trip

I went on a business trip in October of 2010 to the University of Wisconsin.  I brought my camera just in case and came home happy that I did.  The campus sits on a beautiful lake and by the capitol building, all of which provides a rich collage of images.

Other Photos

Alright...trying to catch up on my blogging....here's a veritable smorgasbord (shout out to "Wilbur) of photos from a bunch of different locations from 2010.

These photos are taken at the City of Rocks.  Took these of another climber on the same wall as us.

These next photos were taken at Lava Hot Springs at the Pool....I got asked to stop taking photos of people, but not before I got this series!

Alaska Basin Hike toward Hurricane Pass

This next series was taken in the fall in the Grand Teton National Park at Oxbow Bend in the morning.  Beautiful weather and not the worst location to lose the keys to my car.

This next series was taken in Harriman Park during a cross-country ski jaunt.  The clouds provided an excellent contrast to the snow and the water.
